The 15ft MS8109CA cable is designed for use with Sun, SGI, and Power PC computer displays except for those compatible with Sun Ultra and Sun Voyager. The new Sun Ultra and Voyager have different pin-outs which provide Horizontal and Vertical Sync. Previous Sun pin-outs provided only Composite Sync.
This cable offers DIP switches that enable setting different operating modes when it is connected to the computer display.
Due to its female BNC connectors, the MS8106CA (6 ft/2m) and MS8173CA (3 ft/1m) are perfect for applications in which one of them is used together with an RGBHV (5 BNC Male to 5 BNC Male) extension cable. Connectors are molded for high durability. The 15-pin HD connector offers finger-type lock-down screws.
These cables utilize high resolution coaxes internally.
