Judge Override Button

Designed for use with the MX2426CV Court-PC-View™ Trial Presentation Switcher, the RC5205CV enables a presiding judge (or other key participant in a trial) to instantly blackout all of the outputs from the MX2426CV to prevent inadvertent display of evidence.

The RC5205CV offers a heavy-duty base with a no-slip pad, allowing it to be used as a foot-pedal switch, if desired.

The RC5205CV comes with a 50-foot hard-wired control cable for connecting to the MX2426CV.

Monitor Status Display

Designed for use with the MX2426CV Court-PC-View™ Trial Presentation Switcher, the RC5206CV provides a way of checking to see which monitors in a courtroom presentation application are currently active. Often, monitors in this type of environment are pointed in different directions, making it virtually impossible to tell by simply looking at the monitors themselves.

The RC5206CV is typically installed for use by the presiding judge in a trial, but multiple units can be used to service all parties involved.

Wiring of the RC5206CV is accomplished using terminal block connectors on the rear of the unit. The RC5206CV can be powered by the MX2426CV up to 100 feet. Runs of over 100 feet require a separate power adapter, such as part # PS5503US (U.S.).

Used to connect an ALTINEX switcher to a third-party control system or to the Serial (COM) port on a computer, the RC5201RS is an RS-232 cable that passes through only the Transmit, Receive and Ground lines. Standard RS-232 pin configurations are utilized.

The RC5201RS provides a 9-pin D Male on one side and a 9-pin D Female on the other side.

RC5208CC

Contact Swithc Box for MX2106AV

The RC5208CC is a SPST switch designed for use with the MX2106AV. The MX2106AV is a 2-In 1-Out VGA +AUDIO auto switcher. The switch is encased in a plastic enclosure and has a six foot long cable for added convenience. Override switching is made by plugging the switch into the INPUT SELECT jack on the device being controlled. Manual override switching is made via the switch’s contact closure.

Manual override disables auto switching on the MX2106AV. Input 1 is normally selected when the remote control switch is connected to the INPUT SELECT jack and the contact is open. Input 2 is selected when the contact is closed. The RC5208CC uses a standard 3.5mm stereo plug to mate with the controlled device. The contact closure is connected between the R and Ground contacts on the plug. Opening and closing the switch forces the input switch on the device under control.

RC5209LC

RS-232 Control cable for MX2106AV

The RC5209LC is an RS-232 control cable designed for use with the MX2106AV. The MX2106AV is a 2-In 1-Out VGA +AUDIO auto switcher. Override switching is made by plugging the 3.5mm stereo plug end of the cable into the RS-232 jack on the MX2106AV. The 9-pin HD male connector end of the cable is connected to computer or other control system. RS-232 control is accomplished by sending ASCII commands to select either Input 1 or Input 2.

The MX2106AV may be switched using simple ASCII commands through standard RS-232 communication. In RS-232 Control Mode, auto switching is disabled.
