The DA1706SV is a 1-In 6-Out distribution amplifier designed to allow the simultaneous connection of a single C-Video source and/or a single S-Video source to as many as six different display or recording devices.

This configuration, with both BNC (C-Video) and 4pin mini-Din (S-Video) connector types, provides a unique solution for applications requiring both signal types to be distributed at the same time. Note that the DA1706SV does not convert S-Video to C-Video or C-Video to S-Video.

The DA1706SV can pass NTSC, PAL or SECAM type video signals. Due to its high bandwidth of 80 MHz, it can also pass high-resolution monochrome computer video signals. The DA1706SV will handle video signals with levels up to 1.5Vp-p.

The DA1706SV distribution amplifier has a pre-set gain of 1.05. Each output is completely independent and can withstand shorts to ground indefinitely.

While the output is pre-compensated for up to 100 feet, the DA1706SV can actually drive a signal up to 250 feet or more when it is used with high quality 75-ohm coaxial cable. If necessary, the 4pin mini-Din connectors (S-Video channels) can be converted to 2 BNCs with the use of optional adapter cables offered by ALTINEX (part #s MS8132MG and MS8135MG).

The DA1706SV is perfect for desktop use or it may be rack-mounted using optional hardware.
