The DA1908SX is a 1-In 1-Out VGA/SVGA/XGA Line Driver designed to drive a signal up to 100 feet or more using high quality VGA cable. A VGA "Y" cable (part# MS8117CA) is included with the DA1908SX, which allows for a manner of simultaneously feeding a local monitor. Use of the "Y" is only recommended for lower resolution computer video sources. If the VGA "Y" cable is used, the termination switch on the input of the DA1908SX must be turned off.

As an alternative, the DA1908SX can be ordered with a 3 foot Male to Male VGA Input cable (part# CB3703MR) which does not permit the use of a local monitor, but does enable the product to be used for high resolution signals.
