The VA6835FC is designed to connect a computer video source to a scan-rate-compatible monitor or projector. It is compatible with VGA through UXGA, MAC, SUN, SGI and other analog computer video sources.
The VA6835FC uses a 15pin HD input that is compatible with standard VGA cables. The VA6835FC offers three fully buffered outputs: two main outputs, each using 6 BNC connectors to deliver RGBHV, RGBS, or RGsB type signals, and a pass-through 15pin HD local monitor output. The VA6835FC is virtually identical to the VA6834FC interface except that it also provides the capability to strip sync from Green; if the input signal is RGsB, the main output can be RGsB, RGBS, or RGBHV.
The VA6835FC offers a number of useful features, such as switches for input termination and ID bit (used to emulate a local monitor). A dial-type horizontal positioning control on the front panel not only adjusts the image position, but can also be used to turn off the horizontal delay/positioning control.
