Basic Customization vs. Specialized Customization
Certain features are common among all or most of the ALTINEX Tabletop Interconnect Solutions. For example, many products provide one or two “D-Sub” type pass-through connectors. Most also provide an area for “snap-in” type pass-through connectors. With the PNP300, PNP350, PNP402, TBL102, and TNP502 Series, the snap-in area provides room for six pass-through connectors while the TNP Jr. family provides room for two. While none of these products is field-modifiable, their design enables basic customization at the factory for a relatively low cost. It is also possible to provide unique connector configurations for special applications through specialized customization, which is more involved and requires a minimum ordering quantity.
D-Sub Type Connectors
These are the locations that currently house D-Sub connectors and can be customized with:
- 15-pin HD (VGA) female-male (CM11406)
- 9-pin D-sub female-male (CM11410)
- Blank (CM11401)
Note that the customization actually involves the installation of a cable assembly (rather than just a panel-mount connector) in order to bring the connection point to an accessible location under the unit.
Customized Top Finishes
ALTINEX Tabletop Interconnect Solutions come standard with a matte black finish on the top and bezel elements. Most of these parts, with the exceptions of the CCH100 and the TBL100, can be custom modified with the following finishes:
- Antique Copper (CM12405)
- Bright Gold (CM12406)
- Bright Silver (CM12407)
- Brushed Aluminum (CM12409)
- Crystalline Copper (CM12408)
- Fine Antique Brass (CM12402)
- Fine Antique Chrome (CM12404)
- Satin Blush White Gold (CM12403)
Please contact an ALTINEX sales representative for minimum ordering quantities when ordering a custom finish.
