Tabletop Solutions

The central element of many audiovisual presentation systems is a conference table. The challenge that faces the system designer is how to provide an input plate in a tabletop. Computer video, video, audio, network, and AC power connections need to be available without making an obstruction that gets in the way. Many times, a large number of connecting cables need to be managed above and underneath the table surface.

Depending on the table size, the space for AV connectivity may be sparse. The key is accessible signal management that also utilizes multiple sides. The Pop 'N Plug™ and Tilt ‘N Plug™ Series address this issue by providing numerous solutions with input panels on opposite sides of a central unit that appear when needed and are hidden flush with the table when not in use.

The Pop 'N Plug Slim™ is a slim line version of the standard Pop 'N Plug and is typically used in large boardroom settings where tabletop real estate is extremely limited.

The Tilt 'N Plug tilts up from its secure position in a tabletop when released with a push on the top of the unit. All tabletop solutions come with a variety of different connectors to choose from. Both the Pop 'N Plug and Tilt 'N Plug series are available with AC power connector from 110VAC, for the North American market, to 240VAC for international configurations.

The Tilt 'N Plug Jr.™ product line is a scaled-down version of its big brother, using a smaller input plate with only the most commonly used AV and power connectors.

Because of the Junior’s smaller size, multiple input plates can be grouped together within a single bezel. The TNP124, for example, offers four input plates, with two facing one direction and two facing the opposite direction. This solution can service four users at once, from two different sides of a conference table.

Cable-Nook™ products are designed to provide simple and effective answers for storing cable connectors in a concealed tabletop box. With this solution, no additional cabling is required for connection to the AV source – the cables pass through the unit and connect directly to the AV system. The Cable-Nook line is a more cost-effective solution where budgets are limited.

The Cable Catcher and Table Buddy are two removable connectivity solutions that address the rental and staging market. Both units clamp onto the edge of a table or desk using a nylon and foam pad-protected aluminum C-clamp. The Cable Catcher offers an adjustable grid to hold cable connectors while the Table Buddy holds up to six user-definable AV sectional plates which are available with a variety of AV and AC power pass-through connectors.
