In many audio-visual presentation systems, multiple audio and video signals must be transmitted at the same time from one location to another. As an alternative to running separate cables for each audio and video signal, the CB5200PL Series Plenum-Flex™ Multimedia Cable provides a means of running a single cable that offers multiple channels internally for the different signals.

The CB5200PL Series offers (7) High Resolution Coaxes, (2) Twisted Pairs with a Foil Shield, (1) Twisted Pair with a Braid Shield, (2) Unshielded Twisted Pairs, and (3) Single 20 gauge wires bundled into a single plenum-rated jacket with shielding, a drain wire, and a rip cord.

These internal cables can be used in many different ways to pass a wide variety of signal types. For example, the 7 coaxes can be used to pass RGBHV plus two composite video channels. Or they can be used to pass RGBHV and S-video (Y/C) or even 7 separate composite video signals. The foil-shielded twisted pairs can be used to pass audio while the braid-shielded twisted pair can be used to pass RS-232 commands. The 20 gauge wires can be used to pass low-voltage power (typically 24 volts or +/-12 volts).

This cable is ideal for running between an Input Plate (such as those offered on the VA6875WM Interface or the TM1274 Interface Table Mount Bracket) to an equipment rack or even directly to a projector.

The CB5200PL offers significant time, cost, and space savings compared with using individual cables for multiple signal types that are commonly run together.
