The MultiTasker 4-Slot Enclosure + Front Panel include the MT100-106 4-slot enclosure, and one of the compatible front panels. These combinations are 3.5 in/89mm (2U) high and 8.5"/216 mm (1/2 rack) wide, and include a power cord and any slot covers required to cover unused slots in a MultiTasker configuration.
For applications in which utilize a computer or third-party control system, use the MT102-142 combo, with front and backside 9-pin D-sub connectors and microprocessor. The main microprocessor for the MultiTasker is included, which is required for external RS232 control of the MT100-106; also included is an RS232 control cable.
For applications in which the MultiTasker needs to be controlled using front panel buttons, select the MT102-141 with 25 user programmable buttons and microprocessor. The buttons offer removable transparent faces, allowing access to insert the included pre-printed labels for easy identification of programmed functions. Non-volatile memory protects the programming during power-down. Programming is accomplished through either the front or back 9-pin RS232 port. A 9-pin control cable for programming or RS232 control is included with this panel, too.
When the MultiTasker is populated with cards that do not require external control, use the MT102-143, which includes a completely blank front panel without any microprocessor.
