The CP450-124 is a tabletop keyboard controller that was specifically deisgned to control the ALTINEX MultiTasker. It has 25 dedicated keys that can be programmed to control an AV system. The CP450-124 receives its power directly from the MultiTasker and executes subroutines programmed into the MultiTasker's front panel memory.

No programming of the CP450-124 is required, and it does not require any external power since it powers-up directly from the MultiTasker. In order to activate the unit simply connect the 9pin cable of the CP450-124 to the back connector of the MultiTasker.

Each key on the CP450-124 is assigned 4 subroutines to be executed by the MultiTasker. Each of the subroutines is executed depending on the state of the key's LED when the key is pressed: off, on, flashing, or if the key is pressed and held for 2.5s. The keys offer removable, transparent faces allowing access to removable labels for easy identification of programmed functions.
