The CourtView 8 consist of an 8x8 VGA-UXGA switcher, which is used to connect 4 laptops, 1 document camera and 2 DVD sources to display devices. The DVD source passes through a scalar that converts YPbPr output to a VGA compatible signal. In addition 1 extra VGA input is available for expansion of another computer. 

The output from the VGA matrix switcher is fed to 4 Plasma or LCD displays and 1 large screen projector. To accommodate the video recording equipment, MT2488CV includes a video scan reducer to convert computer signals to Composite or S-Video format. This configuration allows easy recording of different computer and video signals.

All VGA signals from inputs to the switcher, and from the switcher to the displays, are routed through high quality VGA cable. The VGA cable consists of a coaxial cable that can carry VGA signals over 300ft and allows easy cable routing during the installation.

The audio inputs are handled though an 8-in 1-out audio switcher with volume control. Laptop and DVD audio signals are routed through the switcher and then connected to an external power amplifier through a balanced audio output connector. The output from the switcher can be connected as balanced or unbalanced output. Two additional inputs are available for other audio equipment.

The CourtView 8 system also has IR control ports available to control VCR/DVD’s and Plasma or LCD displays and projectors. Four IR outputs are designed for controlling Plasma/LCD displays and an additional RS-232 output is used to control a large screen projector. Two more outputs are used to control VCR/DVD devices.

To control this system we included 2 touch screen controllers that are connected directly to the CourtView 8 system. The CP450-010 MultiTouch panels can be independently used to switch inputs to outputs, adjust volume, select presets and turn off video on demand. All of the programming for the system is included and ready to run out of the box. The system also includes a Judge Override button, which allows the judge to shut down the system if any situation demands it. When this button is pressed, all monitors except the judge’s will be blanked.
