The MultiTasker ™ 20-Slot Enclosure MT102-201 comes with a front panel installed. The front panel includes 36 push buttons and an RS-232 9-pin HD connector.
The front panel MT101-110 is designed for applications which require front panel button control as well as remote control of the unit via RS232. The panel provides 36 buttons, which are completely user-programmable. This is accomplished by connecting a PC to the MT101-101 through its 9-pin D-sub RS-232 communications port and programming each button using the MultiTasker Setup software. The MTSetup software can be downloaded from the ALTINEX website www.altinex.com. Once programmed, the buttons can be used to effect the pre-programmed switching functions, and offer operational functions such as single-click, click-and-hold, and on-off LEDs.
The buttons offer removable transparent faces allowing access to removable labels for easy identification of programmed functions. Non-volatile memory protects the programming during power-down. The button layout on the MT101-110 resembles a typical switcher or matrix switcher configuration with larger buttons used for input/output control and smaller buttons used for special features.
