The MT104-110 is an 8-In, 1-Out 4 Twisted Pair switcher card. Any of the 8 inputs may be switched to the Twisted Pair output. The Twisted Pair signals can be delivered over CAT-5 cables. The MT104-110 is compatible with ALTINEX Standard 4 Twisted Pair devices including the DA1920SX, DA1930SX, MT103-115, etc.
The MT104-110 card uses low power switching relays and offers a bandwidth of 350MHz, enabling it to pass high-resolution video signals without degradation. Inputs are selected via easy-to-use ASCII commands from a control system or computer connected to the RS-232 port on the MultiTasker enclosure. The output may also be switched on or off via RS-232 control. The automatic signal detect feature informs the user if a signal is present on the output.
This card is ideal for a boardroom or training room setup. Computer video and audio from multiple sources is transmitted through a Twisted Pair transmitter like the DA1930CT. The DA1930CT converts the AV signals so they may be sent over the CAT-5 cable. Any of the 8 input sources may be switched to a single output. The switched output is then converted back to computer video and stereo audio using the DA1931CT receiver.
The cards may also be used to switch standard network connections in your local LAN or audio signals as well.
The latest generation of Twisted Pair devices uses an innovative, patented technology* developed by ALTINEX. The new signal processing technology allows transmitting and receiving fully equalized computer video signals, stereo, and audio signals over long distances. The maximum distance at full UXGA resolution is 400ft (122m) between devices and may reach up to 750ft (230m) at VGA resolution.
