The MT105-119 is a 16-In, 16-Out Sync Matrix Switcher Card designed for use in a MultiTasker ® enclosure to allow routing of TTL computer sync signals. When installed in a 4-, 8-, or 19-slot enclosure, this card enables 16 TTL sync sources to be connected and switched to 16 different display devices.
The similar MT105-112 is a 16-In, 16-Out Video Matrix Switcher Card designed for the routing of computer and broadcast video in audiovisual presentation systems. When installed in a 4-, 8-, or 19-slot enclosure, this card enables 16 composite video sources to be connected and switched to 16 different display or recording devices.
Inputs are selected via easy-to-use ASCII commands from a control system or computer connected to the RS-232 port of a MultiTasker enclosure.
The combination of signals handled by the MT105-112 and the MT105-119 allows for easy set-up of RGBHV, RGBS, and RGsB switching configurations using several cards as noted below.
Multiple MT105-119/112 cards can be installed in the enclosure to provide additional functionality, for example, two cards can be used to handle the two components of an S-Video signal, (Chroma and Luma), three cards to handle Component Video (YPbPr), and five cards to handle RGBHV. For RGBS, use 3 MT105-112 cards and 1 MT105-119 card; for RGBHV, use 3 MT105-112 cards and two MT105-119 cards.
These cards can easily be adapted to switch RGBHV-formatted signals using ALTINEX interface cables, including a wide variety of interface cables including VGA-type (15-pin HD) connectors-to-5 BNC connectors.
