The MT105-132 is a 2-Twisted Pair Video + Audio Switcher designed to switch ALTINEX Standard Twisted Pair signals. This card has 8 fixed inputs and 8 fixed outputs with built-in signal detection circuitry that enables easy remote diagnostics through RS-232 commands from the source to the output connectors. An added feature is the internal memory self-test of ICs.
This unit may be configured to any 8x8 input and output combination through easy-to-use MultiTasker ® commands. Several input-to-output combinations may be pre-programmed and then switched simultaneously with a single command.
Two other choices for 8x8 CAT5 switchers are:

- MT105-131: 8x 8 3 Twisted Pair S + Video + Audio Switcher
The latest generation of Twisted Pair devices uses an innovative, patented technology* developed by ALTINEX. The new signal processing technology allows transmitting and receiving fully equalized computer video signals, stereo, and audio signals over long distances without the use of special low-skew Twisted Pair cable. The maximum distance at full UXGA resolution is 400ft (122m) between devices and may reach up to 750ft (230m) at VGA resolution.
