The MT107-212 is a 4 Twisted Pair Input Expansion card for use with the MT107-105 16X16 Matrix Engine. The MT107-212 is capable of receiving ALTINEX Twisted Pair standard signals. Each MT107-212 connects to the internal input connector on the MT107-105 Matrix Engine. Up to 7 MT107-212 cards may be connected to the engine. Each card is connected with the engine via specially provided, high-bandwidth video cables.
As part of the MT107-105 Matrix Engine, the MT107-212 has built-in special features. Signal detection circuitry allows the user to determine the presence of an input signal on any channel.
Video input signals are buffered to the matrix system through high-bandwidth differential receivers. The latest generation of Twisted Pair devices uses an innovative, patented technology* developed by ALTINEX. The new signal processing technology allows transmitting and receiving fully equalized computer video signals, stereo, and audio signals over long distances. The maximum distance at full UXGA resolution is 400ft (122m) between devices and may reach up to 750ft (230m) at VGA resolution.
