The MT107-500 series makes installation of twisted pair matrix switchers as easy as 1-2-3. Housed in a 19" wide, 4U high enclosure, the MT107-500 can be factory configured from 16x16 to 64x64. Since the MT107-500 incorporates all switching for 4 twisted pairs, the setup and installation is very simple. Just install switcher in a rack, terminate cables and plug them into the switcher with appropriate transmitters and receivers connected.
MT107-500 is dedicated for twisted pair signal switching. The IO slots are designed only for TP cards. The location of the engine is fixed, and various input and output cards can be installed on each side for the engine based on different matrix sizes. The Matrix switcher is upgradeable to any size up to 64x64 at the factory or by qualified Altinex dealers. All unused slots are covered by protective plates from the inside.
Control of the MT107-500 is maintained through the MultiTasker enclosure. The switcher may be controlled using the RS-232 port, or by preprogramming the MultiTasker front panel. Programming the front panel makes it simple to do switching during installation, even if the control system is not yet in place. The MT107-500 is fully compatible to Altinex MultiTouch touch screen panels and can be supplied with a fully programmed touch screen controller. The MT107-500 may be easily configured to meet customer requirements by selecting the appropriate number of input and output cards. Control of matrix switcher can be done through a MultiTouch panel or utilizing AVSnap control software.
