The MT108-100 is a Stereo Audio Distribution Amplifier Card and allows the connection of a single stereo audio source to six receiving devices. These devices can include cassette recorders, mixers, and/or amplifiers for sound reinforcement systems.
This card is ideal for distributing audio to recording devices in dubbing racks using simple off-the-shelf dual RCA to RCA cables. For example, the MT108-100 can distribute audio to six cassette recorders or it can handle the audio portion of A/V distribution to six VCRs.
As a "transparent" distribution amplifier, the MT108-100 utilizes AC coupling on its inputs for ideal signal transfer characteristics. The power indicator on the card doubles as a signal detection indicator, allowing easy troubleshooting in complex configurations. Each card requires two slots in the enclosure.
The MT108-100 also has the ability to turn individual outputs on or off. Output control can be accomplished using a control system or from the front panel keys on the MultiTasker.
