The MT110-104 is a Balanced Stereo Audio Matrix
Switching Card. This card allows any input to be independently switched to any of the outputs. Also, any input may simultaneously drive multiple outputs. All inputs and outputs can be wired for unbalanced stereo audio, or balanced audio allowing longer canle runs and superior noise resistance.
This card utilizes AC coupling on its inputs for
ideal signal transfer characteristics. Switching is
controlled with easy-to-use ASCII commands from a
control system or computer connected to the RS232 port of the MultiTasker™ enclosure, or through the front panel keys of the MultiTasker system. Each card requires 4 slots in a MultiTasker enclosure and all input and output connections are accomplished via captive screw pluggable terminal blocks.
Although designated as a 16x16 matrix switcher, the
MT110-104 can be used in a variety of ways to
provide different capabilities. For example, one
MT110-104 can be used to create two 8x8 stereo
audio matrices or a 4x4 and a 2x2 audio matrix.
Each stereo pair is switched together; you
cannot switch the left and right channels of an input
independently. The MT110-104 features individual
input gain control on each input via the RS232 control or front panel keys.
The HelpInside™ feature allows programmers to have access to command structures and control of the MT110-102 from any terminal using the (HELP) command. In conjuction with ALTINEX's unique command structure, HelpInside provides easier-than-ever control of the MT110-104 with simple keyboard commands. No typing of long keyboard strings is necessary.
